Anchored Soul

Now, coming back to you all after a two-month period of respite from the Anchored Soul blog, I find myself returning with many new thoughts and treasures in my heart. Unfortunately, I am nowhere near able to express how the Lord has been instructing me and convicting me, but if He has taught me anything, it has all centered around the truth of the Gospel. How unfathomable are the riches that are to be found in Christ, and how much greater my passion for Christ would be if I would comprehend the depths of the mysteries of His Gospel.

A Fun Book Review on Chosen by Peggy Kennedy

Chosen is a book about the life of Gideon written by Peggy Kennedy.

It hit me right where it needed to- in the midst of my insecurities and doubts about the call He’s placed on my life; in the midst of my excitement and joy to be a part of God’s story; in the midst of the tearful sacrifices I’ve had to make to walk in obedience to the call. Chosen hit “home”, it was a book I could relate to, a story my heart understood.

I carefully took the time to soak in each page of this book. I nearly highlighted the entire thing because it was soooo solid- founded in the Word and full of encouragement.

In Chosen Peggy uses the life of Gideon as a comparative to many of our own lives- called out by God to live life as a “valiant warrior” yet his past experiences and current circumstances had deceived his heart into believing otherwise. Not only does Chosen expose the deception the enemy uses to derail God’s people, it reminds us of God’s TRUTH about WHO WE ARE- as those whose identity is secure in HIM & nothing else.

We are all Chosen to be a Gideon- valiant warriors who rise up into our God-given identity as ones set apart in this hour to release His Kingdom through acts of Love and words of Hope in every sphere of influence.

There is soooooooo much I need to write about on this blog- soooooo much, but for now I’m going to take this blog to fill you in on something exciting…

PEEL HOUSE OF PRAYER upcoming events!

November is the LAST month of PHOP prayer nights because Christmas is around the time we would normally get together.

It’s hard to believe we have almost completed our FIRST YEAR of PHOP. God has been soooooo faithful through it all- it’s been HUGE.

Will you join us in praying for these nights as we prepare to meet? That’d be stellar!

We had an incredible time- God did some AMAZING things. We saw HOPE released to the Crimean people through prayer, miracles and simple acts of LOVE. What an honor to be a part of where God is at work.

His Heart for Crimea, Ukraine

The last several weeks have been CRAZY in many ways…the good mixed in with the bad. Prep for our trip to Crimea, Ukraine has been interested, yet we KNOW He has INCREDIBLE, ordained moments in store.

Over the last several days He has stirred my heart with specific things to pray, Russian words to learn and has given prophetic words for His people in Crimea. His LOVE for them is so beyond words. I’ve been undone in His presence as He’s revealed His heart to me for them. We FULLY believe we will encounter powerful demonstrations of His love, accompanied with signs & wonders. How exciting is that?!

Many prophetic words have been released over the nation of Ukraine. It’s an HONOR to be stepping into their territory for a few short days to release all God has for them in this hour. REVIVAL is busting out across this nation and it’s time for CRIMEA to encounter this in a real way- like never before.

It’s also exciting because we are fulfilling our prophetic destiny as Canadians- being HEALERS TO THE NATIONS. We are simply servants whose hearts are set on seeing His kingdom come on earth TODAY, as it is in Heaven.

Thanks for praying for us as we venture forth into all God has for us in this moment in history. How cool is that?!

Get ready Crimea, HERE WE COME 🙂 We’re ready to be rocked by all you’ve got too Crimea! STOKED!
